B’nai Torah’s Director of Tzedakah, Learning & Chesed (TLC) Program joined together with two other local women helping facilitate the Boca Raton community’s response to the crisis in Ukraine.
As Jews prepare for Passover this weekend, Rabbi David Steinhardt of Boca Raton’s B’nai Torah Congregation writes that one of the seder’s central directives — that every generation should see themselves as if they personally went out from Egypt, and thus help those in oppression — is especially true today as we see war in eastern Europe and a gathering refugee crisis.
In an interview with WPTV NBC, Rabbi Steinhardt and B’nai Torah congregant Marty Kotler speak about the elements of Passover that are relevant to what we’re experiencing in today’s world, especially in relation to Ukraine.
