Siyum B’Chor Service for First Born
Friday, April 15 (8 am Services) – 🖥️ & 👫
To commemorate the fact that the first-born of Israel were spared the fate of the Egyptians who were smitten during the tenth plague, it became compulsory for the first born of each Jewish family to fast on the day preceding Passover. However, if the first-born participates in a Seudat Mitzvah, which is always after the conclusion of a rabbinic study, he is exempt from fasting. We earnestly request everyone who is a first-born (and those who are not) to participate in this service.
