Noah and the Flood: Fact or Myth-Part 1

In Part one of “Noah and the Flood”, we will explore chapters 6 & 7 of Genesis – the first part of the Noah story. As we explore, we’ll focus on both the Hebrew of the text, and how it impacts our understanding of the story. We’ll also look at the first portion of a parallel Babylonian flood story, and see where the two converge, and more importantly, where they diverge – which is what makes this a definitive Jewish tale.
