Join Dr. Dan Oren for a discussion on Restoring the Jewish Cemeteries of Poland and Eastern Europe. Dr. Oren is founder and President of the non-profit Friends of Jewish Heritage in Poland. This session will review the fulfilling work and challenges of hundreds of descendants worldwide and dozens of volunteers in the US, Canada and Poland to address the 1,400 desecrated or forgotten cemeteries where our ancestors remain.
