A Jewish Democratic State: Two Aspirations or One? It is commonly thought that Jewish and Democratic values are one and the same; however, current events in Israel and throughout the Western World are uncovering some uncomfortable truths that are indicating otherwise. Rabbi Dr. More Schwartz, International Director of the Florence Melton School will guide us through the study of some important, provocative foundational Jewish texts that will shed light on the new reality.
