This documentary examines the 2,000 year-old Jewish community of Rhodes that was almost destroyed when the majority of its residents were transported to Auschwitz in the summer of 1944. This movie is mainly in Italian with a little English and subtitled. Lisa F. Rosenberg is an author whose family heritage is Rhodeslis, Ladino speaking Sephardic Jews from the island of Rhodes.
