Event Navigation

Join us as we welcome Rabbi Shira Stutman in conversation with our Senior Rabbi Jack Moline.

The rabbis met when Rabbi Stutman served as the founding rabbi of Washington, D.C.’s Sixth & I Historic Synagogue and Rabbi Moline was the senior rabbi of Agudas Achim Congregation in Alexandria, Virginia.

As the full-time rabbi of Aspen Jewish Congregation, Rabbi Stutman is known for bringing Jewish wisdom to life in ways that are both meaningful and practical. Rabbi Stutman is also the co-host of the popular podcast Chutzpod, where she addresses contemporary questions through a Jewish lens.

She has been honored as one of The Forward’s “Most Inspiring Rabbis” and recognized by T’ruah as a Rabbinic Human Rights Hero for her commitment to justice and impact on Jewish life.

In her new book, The Jewish Way to a Good Life, Rabbi Stutman shows how timeless Jewish values can help guide toward lives of purpose, connection, and meaning. Rabbi Shira distills 3,500 years of Jewish wisdom and culture into practical, time-tested strategies that anyone can adopt to find meaning, cultivate good values, and experience joy. She reminds us: You don’t have to be Jewish to do Jewish. And she tells us how, covering topics including kindness, love, rest, health, education, community, and more.

We look forward to this fascinating conversation!
